A Chill in the Air

Weather here has been nearly ideal... so far. More rain than is "normal" and mild temps (in the 90's) but the thermometer has been dropping and it recorded 47 degrees this morning. I'm a little nervous, with my Southern Arizona thinned blood, that the winter will be a bit of a shock for me. My new boots arrived via UPS yesterday and yes, they are adorable (always helps to withstand bad weather when donning stylish winter apparel). It seems so odd to have the temperatures cooling in September, rather than late October or November, as has been the case for the past 7 years.
